The CLOE English Certification

Rise to
CLOE‑ready.

Four skills — listening, reading, writing, speaking — braided into a single climb from the level you’re at to the day you pass.

Scroll

The four skills, plus speaking.

CLOE tests the English you actually use at work: emails, meetings, calls, negotiations and customer service.

Listening
Phone calls, meetings, announcements.
Reading
Emails, reports, professional documents.
Grammar & Writing
Build clear, accurate messages.
Speaking
Respond to realistic work prompts.
Adaptive format

Questions adjust to your level. The more you practise, the more accurate your CEFR estimate.

Short, focused sessions

Practise 10 minutes a day on one skill, or take a full mock exam when you feel ready.

CEFR-aligned

Every question is mapped to a CEFR level from A1 to C2, like the official exam.

What to expect on exam day

1
Written section, computer-based

About 50 minutes of listening, reading and grammar on a computer at an approved test centre. The difficulty adapts as you answer.

2
Oral section, live with an examiner

A 20-minute spoken exam with a certified examiner: personal-background questions, a role-play scenario, and a thematic discussion.

3
Your CEFR result

You receive a CEFR level (A2 to B2) for each skill, plus an overall result.
